Welcome to Vertigo: Subculture, the only Vertigo fan fiction site on the net!  A Mature readers, fiction group with both classic Vertigo titles as well as unique visions, funneled from everything from classic novels to the original DCU.  If Macabre, horror, and slightly off the cuff stories are your cup of tea then come on in.  The green compels you.

Vertigo: Subculture is currently accepting proposals for new ongoing and mini-series, as well as stories for anthology titles, as always. If you are interested in writing something at Vertigo: Subculture, send proposals and plot outlines or just general ideas to Editor-in-Chief Curt Fernlund. We will not accept all proposals, but all ideas are given a chance.

We suggest that any aspiring writers look at our current titles as what has been done past and present, and do something totally diffrent.  Unique, and refreshing ideas are more of what we are looking for than the same stories with a different colour.  Now piss-off and go read some fiction.

Another new story for this much neglected Branch of JLU: 2001 after 2 months, but well worth the wait.  Mick Edwards tries his hand at another Vertigo story that is well away from his usual fare, and well worth the read, as it is damn good.  Take a look...

Demon's Blood: Part 1

Memories...

What you will find here is quality work by some of the Best in Fanfic, set in the odd world of DC’s Vertigo. As it was before, so shall it be…

Sandman Mystery Theatre by Chris Munn (coming soon)

Frankenstein and the Monster from Hell by Derrick Ferguson

HellBlazer by Chris Munn- Chris returns to Subculture with a vengeance, taking on the title and man that the site was made for.  Welcome back Chris!

Birds of Prey: Remix by Tom Deja- An exciting take on some of Fiction's Finest Femme Fatales!

Know too that Vertigo: Subculture IS accepting proposals for the obscure. If you have a tale that just doesn’t seem to fit in, send it here. The cut is a bit sharper than over at JLU, but as always, everything submitted will be considered.

Submit to me now...
